Item 7 is hereby amended and supplemented by adding the following: "Following further evaluation of various available financing alternatives, Alcoa has determined that it will obtain all of the funds necessary to purchase Shares pursuant to the Offer and the Merger from internally generated funds and the issuance of commercial paper."
